This is a beautiful set of Porcelain Beswick England Winnie the Pooh characters.  Included are Piglet, Winnie, Christopher Robin, Tigger, Kanga, Eeyore, and Rabbit from the Hundred Acre Wood.  These are characters from the original Winnie the Pooh stories written by A.A. Milne with the boy named after his son, Christopher Robin.  Piglet, Eyeore, and Kanga were named after his son's stuffed animals with other characters added in by Milne.
These adorable figurines are in very good condition for age.  There are no chips, breaks, or cracks.  Christopher Robin is 5 inches tall.  The other figurines are between 2 inches tall (Eyeore) and 3 1/2 inches tall (Rabbit).  Rabbit has light paint rubbed off on his hind, as shown.  All pieces are marked Walt Disney Productions and Beswick England, Piglet and Eeyore have the gold Beswick stamps.
The box is a beautifully decorated Black and Gold Trinket Dresser Box made of sturdy and fairly heavy material.  The inside is painted in black lacquer.
Overall, the box measures 13 inches by 10 inches by 3 3/4 inches, outside dimensions.  It is in good condition with only light wear at the corners and rubs on the base.  The box weighs 1 3/4 pounds.
